I break into tears and weep
אבכי אנא ואנדב (ابكى انا واندب)
Oh, )I suffer( from a burning in my temples, and from enduring the most hateful enemies.
אַהְ מִן חַרְ פֻוֵאדִּי וַאחְתִמֵאלִי לִלְאַעֶאדִּ[י] (آه من حر فؤادي واحتمالي للأعاد[ي])
O caravans heading to the land of Al-Shām
אַיהֵא אלרֲכבּ אַל ג̇דּוּּן אִלֶי אַרְץ̇ אלשאֵמִי (أيها الركب الغدون إلى أرض الشامي)
Listen to the words of truth
וסמע מקאל אלחק (وسمع مقال الحق)
I praise Your memory night and day. Refrain. Your place is in my heart
אהלל בלילי ויומי פזמ׳ פי קלבי מקאמך (אהלל בלילי ויומי פזמ׳ في قلبي مقامك )
Oh my God, the one who places his hope in You
יא אלאהי מן רגאךּ (يا الهي من رجاك)
And I humble whomever I want, taking upon myself all the provision of (my) servants
ואדל מן אריד מתכפל בגמיע ארזאק אלעביד (وأذل من أريد متكفل بجميع أرزاق العبيد)
If [you wish for] paradise
אִן ת[ריד] אלגׄנּה (ان تـ[ريد] الجنّة)
Bless the one who came to us, (who) through truth revealed our religion
صلوا على من جاءنا بالحق أظهر ديننا
He adores the Cross as long as he is a compassionate Christian
يهوى الصليب ما دام نصراني حسيبي / حبيبي
Oh, grace of God, remain in our houses
يا نعمه الله دومي في منازلنا
When will they besiege your House? A crowd of lovers desiring you?
מתי בבתך יחנו اقوام عشاق في هواك
Oh, knower of all [secrets],
ياعالم جميع [الأسرار]
O ego, beware, and don’t be deceived: by inclining to that which is ugly, you shall sever
يا نفس اياك ان وتنخدعي : بالميل نحو القبيح تنقطعي (יא נפס איאך אן ותנכדעי : באלמיל נחו אלקביח תנקטעי )
